Operator of the e-shop www.argana.sk I am Fakhr Eddine Elmoukhles, a sole proprietor, based at Štúrova 73/25, 059 41 Štrba - Tatranská Štrba, Company ID: 51 720 761, registered in the Trade Register of the District Office Poprad, trade register number: 740-34719. 

We operate an e-shop on the website www.argana.sk 

When selling goods and operating our websites, we process some personal data.

The processing of personal data is primarily governed by Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation) (“GDPR“).

I. Processing of Personal Data

A. Processing of personal data in case of using the contact form

If you contact us regarding our products and services, we will process the contact information you provide to us, primarily through the contact form. This includes personal data such as: name, phone number, email address. 

For what reason?

Based on the personal data provided, we will subsequently contact you regarding our product offer.

On what legal basis?

This concerns processing based on Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR – performance of a contract, or the implementation of measures prior to entering into a contract at your request.

If you do not provide us with this personal data, we will not be able to communicate with you for the purpose of concluding a contract for the supply of our goods or the provision of our services.

How long will we process personal data?

Unless we establish further cooperation, we will process your personal data for a maximum of 6 months from our last communication.

B. Processing of personal data in case of purchase

If you shop with us, we will process the personal data we need from you to ensure the conclusion of a contract for the provision of our goods or services. These are mainly billing details: first name, last name, address, email address, telephone contact. 

For what reason?

We need to process personal data in order to fulfill our obligations arising from the contract – delivery of goods. By using your contact details, we will also communicate with you regarding the status of your order, or in case of complaints or your questions.

We will further process personal data to fulfill our obligations arising from generally binding legal regulations (mainly for accounting and tax purposes, or for handling complaints and others).

On what legal basis do we process personal data?

This concerns processing based on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR – performance of a contract and Article 6(1)(c) GDPR – compliance with our legal obligation.

If you do not provide us with this personal data, we will not be able to conclude a contract with you for the delivery of our goods or the provision of our services.

How long will we process personal data?

During the delivery of goods or provision of services and then for 10 years from the last provision of such services or delivery of goods.

C. Newsletter (commercial communication)

If you have purchased goods from us and have not explicitly declined to receive marketing communications, we will use your email address to send our marketing messages.

On what legal basis?

This is processing based on Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR – our legitimate interests, which are marketing communications targeted at our customers.

How long will we process personal data?

1 year since your last purchase. If you no longer wish to receive our marketing communications, you can unsubscribe at any time via email or contact us at: info@argana.sk

II. Who has access to the data?

Your personal data will remain with us. Nevertheless, some companies or other individuals work for us who have access to your personal data because they help us operate our e-shop. They are:

• operator of the e-shop platform Shopify International Ltd., c/o Intertrust Ireland, 2nd Floor 1-2 Victoria Buildings, Haddington Road, Dublin 4, D04 XN32, Ireland
• companies involved in the shipment of goods (Slovak Post)
• companies involved in payment processing (Stripe, PayPal)
• email service provider (webhouse.sk)

We process personal data only within the territory of the European Union.

Our company does not have a person responsible for data protection.

In our company, decisions are not made based on automated processing or profiling.

You can object to processing based on legitimate interest.
